EXECUTIVE LEADERSHIP
Philip J. Sumang, P.E., MBA – President/Principal Engineer
Philip Sumang serves as the President of EDI and has extensive experience with overseeing and monitoring remedial construction projects, including disaster-recovery, structural design, building envelope, waterproofing, roofing, and forensic projects. He has a Civil Engineering degree from Marquette with a structural emphasis, and an MBA in finance from Rice University. Philip has nearly 40 years of engineering and facilities consulting experience. He is a registered professional engineering and forensic expert in the area of building envelope systems and waterproofing. He has been an active member in professional organizations and participates in writing and reviewing construction standards. He is an active member of the Steer Committee for the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo, as well as various other technical organizations.
